What to expect from the Nursery Owners Summit?
This is a full day conference aimed at owners of Early Years settings and their managers.
Our theme last year was journey. This year we are about Purpose.
Purpose is the core reason why your nursery exists beyond simply providing childcare. It reflects the values, goals, and impact you aim to achieve through your provision. Recognising their purpose helps owners stay aligned with their vision, inspire their teams, and communicate effectively with parents and the community.
We feel that providers will have children at the heart of what they do.
We have lined up expert speakers to give you masterclasses throughout the day.
We have also got wonderful exhibitors in the Exhibitors Showcase and a brilliant environment for learning and networking with fellow owners.
We want you to leave, informed and inspired. This is not a doom and gloom conference. The whole idea of the conference is for you leave with a plan of action and new friends.

What the day will be like...
The Nursery Owners Summit is a Day Nursery conference that aims to inspire, inform, educate and even entertain!
Based around the theme of growth yet keeping children at the heart of what we do, the day provides an opportunity to meet and share with other Nursery Owners and Senior Leaders.
It’s a chance to reflect, learn and respond. A day where you can focus on YOUR nursery and the action you need to take, in a supportive environment, to enable you to reach the summit.
We have lined up expert speakers, wonderful exhibitors and a venue that will take the very best care of us. Join us for dinner the night before if you are staying over.
The conference opens at 9.15 a.m. and closes at 4.30 p.m.* *Subject to change on the day.

Jane Todd - Nursery Business Support
Dr Jane Todd is a qualified Teacher, Doctor of Education, previously school leadership and university lecturer and for the last 10 years was Nursery Owner of a highly successful Outstanding setting.
Jane has worked with Local Authorities and childcare settings to provide mentoring, training, business support and one-to-one business analysis, to enable managers and owners to run an efficient and effective nursery business. Jane has also worked with childminders and out of school care settings.
As an Educator first of all, Jane does not lose focus of the children, families and staff at the heart of the setting. She does not try to apply 'one size fits all', ‘off the shelf’ formulas, rather works alongside you in a personal way, understanding your business and helping you find a solution.

This years venue for the Nursery Owners Summit is the Village Hotel in Nottingham.
Location
Located in Nottingham, The Village Hotel is in the suburbs. Just off junction 25 of the M1, The Village Hotel is six miles south-west from the centre of Nottingham, and there will be parking on-site. For those traveling by public transport, we are situated less than one mile away from Attenborough train station.
Rooms
